We are currently looking for a Compliance Specialist. This role focuses on the day-to-day execution of the compliance framework, with an emphasis on surveillance and monitoring activities and internal controls. You will work closely with the wider compliance team and business stakeholders in a high-performance trading environment, across both traditional finance and digital assets. The role is based in our Amsterdam office.

Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing monitoring, surveillance and reporting to identify, assess and mitigate compliance risks.
- Assist in managing regulatory requests, audits, inspections and internal reviews, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Deliver regular compliance training sessions to staff.
- Assess applicable exchange rules and provide advice to trading teams.
Requirements
- A university degree in finance, economics, law or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of traditional finance markets and/or digital-asset markets (solely AML/KYC experience will not be considered as demonstrated understanding).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, regulatory or a related role.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to take ownership.
- Comfortable working in a technology-driven trading environment.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not required.
