We are looking for a talented and experienced **Java Developer** with **6–9 years of professional experience** in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions using Java and modern development practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals, to deliver robust applications that meet business objectives.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent coding standards, and the ability to contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and production support.
## Requirements
### Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and backend services.
- Build scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with various internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and high software quality.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application monitoring.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features and system enhancements.
- Stay updated with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and software engineering best practices.
### Required Skills
- **6–9 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.**
- Strong proficiency in **Core Java**, object-oriented programming (OOP), collections, multithreading, exception handling, and concurrency.
- Experience developing enterprise applications using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services, API development, and backend architecture.
- Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of application security principles and secure coding practices.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and debugging complex applications.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
### Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging systems, caching technologies, or microservices architecture is desirable.
