Yard Sales Adviser

Are you based in the Leeds area? Do you have experience in the Construction Materials Industry or a Builder’s Merchant?

FLT experience is necessary for this role.

Minster, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Yard Sales Advisor who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 7.00am - 5.00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles – using a forklift where needed
• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
• Pick items to fulfil customer orders
• Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate area
• Getting to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone)
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work street chains, online stores and holiday agents

Required Skills and Experience

• A flexible approach to work
• A great team player; ready to support colleagues and customers when needed
• A confident communicator, both over the phone and face to face
• Previous forklift experience, although training will be provided
