Job Description Summary
Come and join our global team as IT Business Partner for GenAI & Federated Data Management in the PLM environment and act as the central point of contact for all business stakeholders within the Healthineers PLM units, driving the value-generating use of GenAI and Federated Data Management solutions across our product lifecycle functions. In this role, you are responsible for the end-to-end value stream of the product lifecycle in product variant and configuration management. Your focus spans from customer requirements across all engineering disciplines — particularly software engineering — through to customer-specific order manufacturing and the subsequent service of the system.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- You define, drive, and manage the IT demand for GenAI and Federated Data Management solutions across all PLM areas, ensuring alignment with the global IT strategy.
- Through close collaboration with Solution and Enterprise Architecture as well as the IT experts of the COC Global Data & AI, you ensure that concrete solutions for Data & AI use cases in the PLM environment are developed and create corresponding proofs of feasibility.
- As an innovative thought leader, you translate current trends and technologies in the field of GenAI and Federated Data Management into tangible, implementable use cases, ensuring compliance and cyber security requirements by evaluating their added value.
- You coordinate collaboration with the business to integrate new solutions along the entire product lifecycle of the Siemens Healthineers products.
- You are also responsible for the implementation of use cases up to the productive deployment of the IT service.
- You drive data strategies and guidelines that establish a long-term maintainable foundation for ontology-based GenAI applications in the PLM environment and maximize the value generated through the use of GenAI solutions.

Your qualifications and experience
- You hold a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable field of study.
- You have several years of professional experience in defining and implementing solutions in the areas of GenAI, Federated Data Management, and/or PLM.
- You bring in-depth knowledge of current trends, tools, and technologies related to GenAI, Agentic AI, training LLM models, as well as distributed data management.

- You have strong communication and motivational abilities that allow you to inspire a variety of stakeholders for new digital solutions.

The base pay range for this position is
$98,140 - $134,937
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
