( Mechanical / Electrical) Desired Industry / Functional Exposure Managerial, Communication, 360'Leadership and motivation and Fair knowledge of Maintenance management practices Reporting to Unit Head - Power & Energy Management Reported by Engineer - Power & Utility Section 2 : Job Purpose (Summarize why this job exists; and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organisation) Responsible for regular inspection, repair & maintenance in order to get smooth operation of Utility function in terms of Electrical and Mechanical and support teams to improve and deliver task on time. Identify the pain areas of the team and help them work on resolving them together. Ensure regular updates and smooth functioning of operations. Section 3: Areas of Responsibility ( A specific, permanent area that requires the role holder to be responsible for taking decisions, delivering results or carrying out a significant amount of activity) Responsibility Heads Key Responsibilities/KRAs Safety - Ensure execution of SOPs for Safety - Ensure timely KY Execution of Safety on a regular basis and Audit Finding Maintenance of Plant and Machinery (Utility Equipments) - Ensure timely maintenance of utility equipment (WTP, ETP, STP, Boiler, MEE, HVAC) - Ensure monthly data updating on GPCB XGN - Ensure execution of Daily/monthly/annual preventive & predictive maintenance activities of utility equipment’s like ETP ,STP ,DM Plant ,Boiler & HT line - Generate & update machine maintenance and Records in Compliance to TS16949, ISO – 14001 Project - Supervise all execution activities and completion of targets with promised deadline and targets Support to Production - Ensure efficient operation of Utility & forklift operations and proper energy generated per hour - Ensure efficient operation of DM plant in order to supply the quality water to the process Cost Reduction -Evaluation of Actual vs Target plan to find areas of cost reduction and come with effective ways to reduce overall costs Inventory of spares - Ensure execution of inventory reduction activity plan in order to ensure optimum inventory levels & smoothen maintenance activities Manpower Development -Analysis of repetitive breakdowns in utility equipment’s through PDCA/QC circles and provide on the job training to workers in order to improve their technical skill from time to time
