About the Position

The Health Data and Supply Chain Officer leads the use of routine data for operational and strategic decision-making, the production of automated reporting that programme and government teams rely on, and the data and process management of the national supply chain for malaria drug and diagnostic commodities. The incumbent maintains and supports the existing health information infrastructure, including DHIS2, and ensures data moves reliably in and out of national systems. S/he works in close collaboration with the Director of Health Information Systems (HIS) at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and other Ministry of Health (MOH) programs to strengthen the analysis and use of data in national health information systems. The role requires strong technical expertise in data management and analysis, combined with the ability to build capacity among national staff and support high-level strategic initiatives. Working under the guidance of the MEL Advisor, this position plays a crucial role in strengthening national health information systems and building capacity for data-driven decision making.
