Finance Manager (CPA Required)

Strong financial operations don’t just track performance, they drive it. We’re looking for a Finance Manager who can take ownership of our accounting and financial processes, improve reporting speed and accuracy, and support operational decision-making as we scale.

THE ROLE

• This is an ownership role. You will manage the full accounting cycle, oversee financial reporting, and ensure accuracy across all financial operations.
• You will work closely with the VP of Operations and play a key role in improving processes, shortening close cycles, and building a scalable finance function.
• This is not a purely back-office role, you’ll be expected to think analytically, identify inefficiencies, and actively improve how we operate.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Own the full accounting cycle, including month-end close
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across financial records

Month-End Close & Process Improvement

• Reduce month-end close timeline from 5 days to 3 days
• Identify inefficiencies and improve accounting workflows
• Build scalable processes and documentation

Team Oversight

• Manage and oversee the bookkeeping team and AP clerk
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work

Cost & Inventory Accounting

• Manage and apply landed costs across products
• Ensure accurate cost tracking and margin visibility

Reporting & Analysis

• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making
• Work closely with the VP of Operations on performance tracking

REQUIREMENTS

Must have

• 1+ year of experience in ecommerce or DTC
• Experience managing full accounting cycle and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and organization
