Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer (Python) and be part of a cross-functional product team dedicated to improving our customers' daily productivity. You will plan, architect, and develop applications using a tech stack that includes Python, Rest API, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/GitLab, Flask, React, and Node.js in TypeScript, all running on AWS. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and the Scrum Master to create high-quality features that delight our customers. Additionally, you will work with fellow developers to build lasting, scalable, highly available, and reliable technical solutions.

• Plan, architect, and develop applications within the team’s tech stack, including Python, Rest API, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/GitLab, Flask, React, and Node.js in TypeScript, running on AWS.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and the team’s Scrum Master to create high-quality features that delight customers.
• Work with fellow developers to build lasting, scalable, highly available, and reliable technical solutions, ensuring the overall excellence of the software platform.
• You know the ins & outs of Python, and, ideally, have a good idea about TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• You are a strong communicator, and your English is at a very good level (>C1)
• You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check
• You have working experience with building cloud applications on AWS
• You feel equally at home in the backend as well as on the frontend and bring your experience to bear in both areas, whether it's complex architectures or the design of single-page applications, with the backend being your main strength
• You are a power user of AI-based tools (ideally, have experience with GitHub Copilot), and you know how to boost your productivity with them safely and responsibly
• You know how to use LLMs as components of software architecture and as a means of delivering customer value
• You have excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented & KPI-driven working style
