Sales Representative

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and convert warm inbound leads generated through Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Micro Edge Ads, and other eCommerce marketing channels
• Engage with customers promptly, understand their needs, and guide them toward the best solution or product offering
• Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers through excellent customer service and communication
• Focus on closing deals and driving conversions rather than cold calling or business development
• Follow up consistently with leads to maximise sales opportunities and improve customer experience
• Maintain accurate customer interactions, lead updates, and sales activity within CRM systems
• Assist customers throughout the purchasing process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from enquiry to close
• Work closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance
• Stay informed on product offerings, promotions, and competitor activity within the eCommerce space
• Prepare sales updates and conversion reports for management as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in closing deals
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
