Staff Accountant

Position: Staff Accountant

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Full-Time, Remote Work.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) posting and cash postings.
• Prepare and post payroll journal entries.
• Record and maintain accruals.
• Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation and AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with hands-on full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
• Strong experience with:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Cash postings
• Payroll journal entries
• Accruals
• Account reconciliations
• Financial statement review

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Sage Intacct experience is a strict requirement.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency and accounting processes.
