About The Role

Join our Translational Research team as a Scientist in Histology and Bioanalytics. You will oversee and perform histology, image analysis, and bioanalytics for preclinical efficacy and biodistribution studies. Your responsibilities will include selecting and monitoring CROs, planning and designing histology workflows, in-house image analysis, developing analytical strategies, and executing bioanalytic assays. You will also support relevant laboratory tasks, document all activities, and present results to stakeholders. A PhD in life sciences and experience in histology, microscopy, and image analysis are required.

  • Oversight and coordination of histology, image analysis, and bioanalytics for preclinical studies.
  • Selection, monitoring, and collaboration with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for histology and bioanalytics.
  • Planning, design, and execution of bioanalytic assays, with a special focus on ddPCR.
  • PhD in life sciences (biotech, pharmacology, pathology, biomedical sciences or similar), Neuroscience is preferred, with focus on peripheral or central nervous system indications
  • Experience in immunology and/or oncology is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in histology, microscopy and image analysis, as well as tissue bioanalytics (DNA and RNA workflows)
  • Nice to have: experience with HALO software or Visiopharm AI-based image analysis platforms, experience with ddPCR, experience with protein bioanalytics (ELISA, western blot, MSD, LC-MS, or related methods), data analysis and visualization using R or related tools
