Senior Kotlin / Java Software Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Kotlin/Java Software Engineer and work on our new banking platform. You will build and evolve business-critical clearing and settlement services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. You will work in autonomous, cross-functional teams using agile practices and develop cloud-native applications on AWS. • Entwickeln und Weiterentwickeln von geschäftskritischen Clearing- und Abwicklungsdiensten unter Verwendung von Kotlin, Java und Spring Boot.
• Arbeiten in autonomen, funktionsübergreifenden Teams unter Verwendung agiler Praktiken, Domain-Driven Design, Code-Reviews, automatisierten Tests und kontinuierlicher Lieferung.
• Entwickeln und Betreiben von cloud-nativen Anwendungen auf AWS, einschließlich containerisierter Dienste auf ECS und ereignisgesteuerten Workloads auf Lambda.
• A quality and security mindset, with attention to reliability, maintainability and operational ownership
• A solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and the ability to translate complex business processes into clear software models
• Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems and APIs
• An interest in complex financial workflows or the curiosity to learn them quickly
• Strong experience building backend services with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to solving problems
• Familiarity with cloud-native development on AWS, especially containerised and serverless workloads
• Confidence with automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and production observability
• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences, ...) or a comparable qualification
