Staff Software Engineer

• Have experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction beyond your own individual work
• Have designed and scaled complex systems in a production environment
• Are naturally curious and excited to continuously learn, improve, and raise the bar for yourself and those around you
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of technical leadership
• Communicate clearly, build trust across teams, and are comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments
• Have experience building frontend, backend, or full-stack applications, with deep expertise in at least one
• Have experience designing scalable architecture, optimizing performance across systems, and solving ambiguous, high-stakes technical problems
• Have worked cross-functionally with Operations, Product, or other business functions to align technical decisions with real-world constraints
• Our team builds with technologies like TypeScript, React, Express, PostgreSQL, and AWS, but we're far more interested in exceptional engineers than perfect technology matches.
