Visual Designer

Join Autodesk as a Visual Experience Designer (VXD) and help create intuitive and beautiful product experiences. You will work closely with various teams to contribute to product experiences across web, desktop, and emerging platforms. Your responsibilities will include creating high-quality visual design deliverables, collaborating with UX designers and engineers, and staying current with design trends. • Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and digital product design
• Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar
• Understanding of typography, color, layout, hierarchy, and visual composition
• Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn from others
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design fundamentals and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or equivalent practical experience
• 0–2 years of professional experience in visual design, product design, UX design, or related fields
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and receive feedback constructively
• Experience with design systems and reusable UI components
• Experience creating interactive prototypes and validating design concepts
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and modern web application concepts
• Knowledge of motion design, illustration, or iconography
• Experience using AI-powered tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, Vercel v0, Stitch, Pencil, or similar platforms to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, content generation, research synthesis, and collaboration
• Experience working in collaborative or cross-functional team environments
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and product development workflows
• Understanding of the opportunities and limitations of generative AI in user experience design, visual design, and product development
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to adopt emerging AI technologies to improve design quality, productivity, and customer outcomes
