About The Role

Folio is the official purchasing technology provider for the AAHOA Marketplace, serving 20,000+ hotel owners across the country. We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to be the face of Folio within the AAHOA ecosystem: owning the on-the-ground relationship, driving co-marketing execution, and helping grow marketplace adoption across the membership.

This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role. You'll be traveling a significant amount, at AAHOA conferences, regional events, town halls, and golf tournaments building relationships with hotel owners, AAHOA leadership, and supplier partners. Between events, you'll coordinate co-branded campaigns, track & work on hitting adoption milestones, and work cross-functionally with our product and operations teams to support AAHOA member needs. You'll be measured on the health and growth of the AAHOA partnership -- member adoption, marketplace engagement, and the strength of the relationships you build across the ecosystem.

What excites you

  • Being the person who shows up, builds trust, and becomes a known name in a community. You thrive when you're the go-to contact for a major partner.
  • Traveling regularly to meet hotel owners and AAHOA stakeholders face-to-face at conferences, regional meetings, town halls, golf outings. You know nothing replaces being in the room.
  • Owning a partnership end-to-end: co-marketing execution, event logistics, member outreach, adoption tracking, and relationship management with senior stakeholders.

Working with a small, fast-moving team where your work directly impacts the trajectory of a critical partnership.

  • Coordinating across internal teams (product, operations, leadership) and external stakeholders (AAHOA staff, GPOs, supplier contacts) to keep complex workstreams moving.
  • Working with Folio's leadership team to build a scalable partnerships structure and associated processes to enable the company to rapidly expand.
  • Having ownership and autonomy over how you manage your work.

What excites us

  • 5–8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or a senior client-facing role, ideally in hospitality, procurement, or a high-growth startup environment.
  • You've managed complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships involving associations, GPOs, franchise networks, or membership organizations.
  • You have strong executive presence. You're comfortable presenting to a room of hotel owners, navigating a golf outing with AAHOA board members, or running a webinar for 200 attendees.
  • You're organized, detail-oriented, and thrive when you're juggling events, campaigns, and relationship touchpoints across a portfolio of stakeholders.
  • You're willing to travel 30–40%+ of the time, including to major hospitality conferences and AAHOA regional events across the US.

Bonus points for

  • Gujarati language fluency (a significant portion of the AAHOA membership prefers to conduct business in Gujarati)
  • Experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or deep familiarity with the independent hotel ownership community
  • Existing relationships within the AAHOA network
  • Familiarity with GPOs or hospitality procurement

Working at Folio

  • We're a remote-first company. Quarterly, we travel to work together in-person and stay with one of our hotel partners.
  • For the most part, we rely on Google Meet, Linear, Notion, and Slack to make decisions and get things done day-to-day.
  • You will have the opportunity to travel frequently and meet our customers and partners in person.
  • We're a small team who work collaboratively and meet daily for stand up.

What we value

  • Craft. We take pride in our work, find joy in execution, and believe that the best companies are built at a steady yet resilient pace.
  • Optimism. We believe in ourselves and each other and know anything is possible with the right amount of hustle and grit.
  • Ownership. We love making things better and have a strong sense of shared responsibility over everything we create together.
  • Hospitality. The industry we're building for has a culture of service to others, and we bring that energy to how we work together each day.
