Senior Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions

Numa · Berlin, Germany

Quick applyfull-time3 months ago

About The Role

Join Numa, a rapidly growing tech-driven hospitality company, as the Senior Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions. In this high-visibility role, you will drive Numa's M&A agenda end-to-end, from pipeline management to deal execution and post-merger integration. You will have direct access to the CEO and C-Level executives, shaping company strategy in a tangible way. This position offers genuine autonomy, the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technology, and the chance to make a significant impact on the company's growth.

  • Drive Numa's M&A agenda end-to-end, including pipeline management, deal execution, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
  • Develop target criteria, investment logic, and strategic rationale in close partnership with the VP, and build and manage a proprietary deal pipeline.
  • Lead individual deal processes from outreach through signing, including commercial and strategic due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Demonstrated experience across the M&A value chain: origination, commercial and strategic DD, deal structuring, and integration
  • Genuine interest in technology, AI, and how these forces reshape business models and valuations
  • Experience navigating complex multi-stakeholder environments including founders, PE/VC counterparts, or institutional investors
  • Strong financial modelling skills – valuation, deal economics, unit economics. You interrogate numbers, not just read them
  • 3–6 years in a high-performance analytical environment – ideally top-tier strategy consulting (e.g. MBB, Roland Berger, Oliver Wyman) with M&A, transactions, or corporate finance exposure
  • AI-proficient: uses AI tools actively in research, modelling, and process work
  • Structured problem-solver who produces decision-ready outputs, not analysis for its own sake
  • Resilient and fast-moving: thrives with imperfect data and shifting priorities while maintaining output quality
  • High-ownership operator: you bias toward action and don’t wait to be told what to do next
  • Low ego – builds trust and alignment rather than asserting authority. Functions without direct reports
  • Excellent written and verbal English (required). German or other European languages are a plus
  • Writes sharp, concise investment memos and decision materials for C-Level audiences
  • Fluent in both strategic and financial language; able to translate between the two
