Cashier

Description

• Main responsibilities include but not limited to ringing up sales and bagging items. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Follows the age verification policy with optimum accuracy and without exception.
• Maintains individual workstations clean and in good working order.
• Restocks merchandise in overhead cigarette racks, as well as products where applicable.
• Abides by strict cashier control guidelines as set forth by the Company.
• Follows all inventory control cashier procedures.
• Assists all customers while on retail floor maintaining our Customer First Policy.
• Assists customer with their packages, if necessary.
• Collects hand shopping baskets and carts, if necessary.
• Performs additional tasks and special projects as assigned by store manager or his/her assistant manager.
• Works under immediate supervision.

Qualifications

• Mandatory availability to work weekends including Fridays
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Full time employees must work 40 hrs a week
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, move boxes and stand for long periods of time.
• Must have basic computer skills.
