Key Responsibilities
- Provide complete oversight and accountability for managing the regional branch network, ensuring adherence to the Branch Rules.
- Ensure that branches have access to the required IT infrastructure.
- Ensure that branches are confident using the IT infrastructure provided.
- Ensure that branches maintain up-to-date records of branch officers on Reform Pro.
- Ensure that branches are actively fundraising to support effective campaigning.
- Ensure branches are adhering to directives issued by Reform HQ.
- Ensure branches are monitoring for potential by-elections in their area.
- Ensure branch officers and activists attend any training sessions organised by HQ where required.
- Provide ongoing daily support to branch officers as and when requested.
- Ensure branches are operating in compliance with the Branch Rules.
- Ensure reporting from branch chairs is completed.
- Ensure all electoral registers are collected and up-to-date.
- Provide the National Director with regular reports on branch performance and progress.
- Promptly escalate any issues faced by the branch network to the National Director.
- Ensure branches and branch officers do not engage with requests from the press without prior approval from the HQ Press Team.
- Provide practical guidance on campaign literature, including correct imprints, and support for physical and digital campaign materials.
- Oversee and support the development of local campaign plans and coordinate the execution of national campaign projects and initiatives.
- Ensure branches are actively campaigning both during and outside of election periods.
- Ensure branches provide mutual aid to neighbouring branches where required.
- Ensure that branches are proactive in identifying and preparing candidates for upcoming local and national elections.
- Ensure every pending by-election has a suitable candidate selected in advance of nomination deadlines.
- Ensure that branches are fully prepared for the election nomination process.
- Ensure an adequate number of Delegated Nominating Officers (DNO’s) are in place to cover the region.
