| Position Purpose | - Teach various courses in the Sport and Exercise Science - Assign grades for courses as necessary - Complete course assessment documentation as necessary |

| Knowledge, Skills And Abilities | - Willingness to learn the use of instructional technologies to teach traditional, hybrid, and/or distance learning (online) courses - Knowledge and skills with software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint |

| Experience | - Demonstrated teaching experience - Minimum of one year experience teaching in an online or hybrid environment - Understanding of competencies required for specific courses - Excellence in teaching and facilitating the learning process for students - Applying diverse instructional strategies, including use of technology, in response to learner demographics and learning styles - Excellent oral, written, and listening skills |

| Education | - Required: Master’s degree in appropriate area for courses to be taught - Preferred: Minimum of two years’ experience in the profession - Previous teaching experience at the high school or post-secondary level - Certification or license appropriate to specialty (e.g., NATA, ACSM, NSCA) |

| Additional Information | Available for Fall and Spring semesters on site at the main campus in Lebanon, TN. |
