About The Role

• To provide Occupational Therapy service to hospital inpatients.
• To carry out assessment of patient’s functional ability (i.e. self-care, functional mobility, transfers, home management) considering patient’s physical, cognitive and social situation, and plan appropriate treatment interventions.
• To provide patient education and intervention regarding safety and independence at home, functional precautions and correct use of equipment.
• To document all occupational therapy interventions in the patient’s medical record.
• To maintain accurate patient statistics.
• To participate in Multidisciplinary Team Quality Improvement Programs.

About You

• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Post-graduate private or public hospital experience at least one year.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Weekend availability a must.
• Evidence of the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
