Senior Satellite Systems Engineer (Payload) for Fastwater Staffing and Recruiting

ROLE OVERVIEW

Working on interfaces and interactions between the Payload and the rest of the Satellite (Platform) at system level, during design, AI&T;, and in-orbit operations. Daily coordination with Payload, C&DH; OBDH, Satellite Operations, FSW, FDIR teams. Responsible for all interface control documents (ICDs).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years systems engineering at satellite level for telecom satellites (ideally digital payload)
• Sub-system experience in 1+ of: Communication Payload, FSW, C&DH;, FDIR, Satellite Operations
• Ability to coordinate payload-related satellite tests in AI&T;
• Experience in phases B/C/D/E of space programs
• Owns/produces Mechanical and Electrical ICDs
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
• 50%+ on-site in Montreal
