The Inventory Supervisor provides daily leadership and oversight for inventory operations within the Mail Order/OTC Pharmacy Distribution environment. You will directly support the inventory operations for our Traditional mail order pharmacy.
The Inventory Supervisor oversees a team of inventory pharmacy technicians responsible for receiving medications, accurately moving products into forward pick locations, setting up new locations, and ensuring inventory is available to meet dispensing needs. You will also provide oversight for cycle counts and oversee associates working backordered product to reduce delays and support timely prescription fulfillment.
The Inventory Supervisor works within established guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements while using judgment to analyze variable factors and resolve inventory issues. This position partners with multiple departments and teams across sites, including Dispensing, Compliance, and other inventory teams, to ensure inventory accuracy, process consistency, and operational agreement.
The Inventory Supervisor resolves problems related to department processes, works with a team of analysts to monitor inventory trends, and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians directly to ensure they have the medication they need.
You will comply with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies and procedures. You will make decisions related to daily operations, scheduling, workflow planning, and issue resolution. The Supervisor also performs escalated or more complex similar work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of pharmacy technicians working in inventory and oversee inventory operations.
- Coordinate work activities to ensure performance, productivity, quality, and accuracy standards are met.
- Partner with multiple departments across sites, including Dispensing, Compliance, and Elite teams, to support inventory workflow, issue resolution, and operational goals.
- Hold team members accountable for following established policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with process improvements, workflow development, and operational planning to support timely and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Handle complex and escalated inventory and distribution issues.

- You will report to the Manager, Mail Order Pharmacy Distribution.

Required Qualifications
- Must have an active registration/license as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Florida OR the ability to become registered within 6 months of hire.
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience or any leadership related experience to include coaching and developing associates formally or informally.
- Experience with Elite inventory management system or any similar warehouse/pharmacy inventory management system.
- Bachelor's degree.
- National Certification through PTCB or CphT (ExCPT/NHA).
Additional Information
Work Hours: 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with shifts to be determined based on business need.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs and may include weekends, Saturday and/or Sunday.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$59,300 - $80,900 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
