THE ORGANIZATION

  • the Philadelphia region. As a designated Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) for the Department of Human
  • Services, Net Community Care operates CUA1 and CUA7, providing comprehensive child welfare services
  • focused on safety, permanency, and family well-being. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural
  • humility, Net Community Care works to stabilize families, support youth development, and ensure children
  • can grow in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes. The organization is committed to strengthening
  • communities through collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

SUMMARY

  • Case Aides play an important role in supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. In
  • this position, you will work directly with families identified by the Department of Human Services who may
  • need help improving parenting skills and creating a safe, stable home environment. In this role you will assist
  • families in learning and practicing skills that reduce safety risks and promote healthy child development. This
  • work includes providing hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to help families build the tools they
  • need to care for their children successfully.
  • Case Aide’s have strong knowledge of child welfare protective services issues and the needs of high risk,
  • vulnerable families. The Department of Human Services based on concerns regarding parenting skills and
  • ability to maintain children in a safe environment identifies client families. This intensive program will assist
  • families in developing parenting practices and skills that reduce safety risks and enhance ability to provide a
  • nurturing environment for children.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Two years’ experience involving youth and families preferred
  • Knowledge of child and family service systems
  • Valid Driver’s License (issued by state in which employee lives) and safe driving record
  • Experience with computers beneficial
  • Knowledge of social work values and/or child welfare services
