THE ORGANIZATION
- Net Community Care is a division of Northeast Treatment Centers (NET), a non-profit organization serving
- the Philadelphia region. As a designated Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) for the Department of Human
- Services, Net Community Care operates CUA1 and CUA7, providing comprehensive child welfare services
- focused on safety, permanency, and family well-being. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural
- humility, Net Community Care works to stabilize families, support youth development, and ensure children
- can grow in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes. The organization is committed to strengthening
- communities through collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
SUMMARY
- Case Aides play an important role in supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. In
- this position, you will work directly with families identified by the Department of Human Services who may
- need help improving parenting skills and creating a safe, stable home environment. In this role you will assist
- families in learning and practicing skills that reduce safety risks and promote healthy child development. This
- work includes providing hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to help families build the tools they
- need to care for their children successfully.
- Case Aide’s have strong knowledge of child welfare protective services issues and the needs of high risk,
- vulnerable families. The Department of Human Services based on concerns regarding parenting skills and
- ability to maintain children in a safe environment identifies client families. This intensive program will assist
- families in developing parenting practices and skills that reduce safety risks and enhance ability to provide a
- nurturing environment for children.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Two years’ experience involving youth and families preferred
- Knowledge of child and family service systems
- Valid Driver’s License (issued by state in which employee lives) and safe driving record
- Experience with computers beneficial
- Knowledge of social work values and/or child welfare services
