THE ROLE

AMD is seeking a highly capable and execution-focused Senior Manager, Strategic Programs & Sales Operations to support the Corporate Vice President of Global Systems Integrator (GSI) Partnerships. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic partner program leadership, sales operations, business planning, and cross-functional execution.

This role is ideal for a senior program or business operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity, and can independently drive complex initiatives from concept to completion with minimal direction.

As a trusted operational partner to the CVP, you will help drive organizational cadence, lead strategic programs, build operational frameworks, develop executive-level communications, and ensure alignment across Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams. You will serve as a key connector across the organization—bringing data, insights, and execution rigor to help accelerate AMD’s GSI strategy and growth.

This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role. Instead, this position is best suited for a builder and influencer who understands partnership ecosystems and combines strong program management discipline, sales operations expertise, business acumen, and executive communication skills to drive meaningful business outcomes.

THE PERSON

Does this sound like you? We’d love to talk!

You are a highly organized, strategic, and proactive leader who excels at transforming ideas into scalable partner programs and operational execution. You are comfortable operating with ambiguity, influencing across teams, and driving progress with minimal oversight.

  • Deep understanding of partnership ecosystems including GSIs, ISVs, and/or Systems Integrators, with strong familiarity in software, applications, and solution-based business models
  • Deep experience in sales operations, business operations, strategic planning, or partner program management within large technology organizations
  • Builder mentality with the ability to create frameworks, processes, and operating models from scratch
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of partner and sales motions, pipeline management, and governance rhythms
  • Ability to independently identify problems, propose solutions, and drive execution with minimal direction
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including executive presentation development and storytelling with data
  • Creative and analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
  • Strong listening skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Positive, action-oriented mindset with strong follow-through and accountability
