SAP EWM Support Consultant - Manufacturing & Logistics

About The Role
- We are looking for a SAP EWM Support Consultant - Manufacturing & Logistics to our key projects designing innovation tools, training and experiences. !
- This role lasts initially until the end September of 2027 with expected extension, where only a freelance cooperation is available as form of cooperation.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide BAU support for SAP EWM and Manufacturing-related logistics processes across LDC live sites, primarily focused on Austria and Schaftenau operations.
- Manage incoming tickets, defects, and change requests through designated service management tools.
- Collaborate with GPOs and business stakeholders to validate requirements and define further actions.
- Analyze and propose solutions jointly with local business teams, LDC Core, Adopt, TD, GPO, and AMS teams.
- Support and implement approved change requests within SAP EWM and related logistics/manufacturing systems.
- Participate in CAB meetings to present and obtain approvals for proposed system changes.
- Work closely with LDC design, adoption, and BAU teams to ensure stable operational support and continuous improvement.
- Support logistics operations related to own warehouse/warehouse management processes and connected manufacturing activities.
- Ensure effective collaboration between SAP and connected satellite systems, including MES and local warehouse systems.
- Contribute to smooth service transition and ongoing delivery support within the current SAP landscape.
Requirements
- Strong experience with SAP EWM and Manufacturing-related logistics processes.
- Solid understanding of warehouse systems (WHS) and operational processes within Austria-based sites, particularly Schaftenau.
- Proven knowledge of Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) business processes within pharmaceutical/manufacturing environments.
- Deep expertise in SAP and connected satellite systems, especially MES and local warehouse systems.
- Prior involvement in current SAP transformation or implementation projects, with strong understanding of related business processes and system landscape.
- Experience supporting BAU activities, including ticket handling, defect management, and change request implementation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, AMS, and governance bodies such as CAB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on support mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in complex global environments.
- Ability to work in a remote setup with occasional on-site presence in Austria.
