Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Corrections. We have partnered with Exos as our subcontractor for Dental Assistant services.

We are currently seeking apart-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Madison Correctional Facility located in Madison, Indiana.

The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

Essential Duties

• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
• Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory
• Operating radiographic equipment
• Administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
• Certification in Dental Radiology required
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift

• Part-time days, 20 hours per week
