THE DAY TO DAY

• Perform transmission diagnosis, overhaul, and repair on GM vehicles
• Diagnose fast & accurate to pinpoint the root cause and build a clear repair plan
• Deliver maintenance and repairs to a high standard—clean work, every time
• Tackle electrical, HVAC, brakes, steering/suspension, and general repairs
• Manage your bay efficiently—prioritize, stay organized, and keep jobs moving
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts to keep approvals

• Document findings and recommendations clearly with
• pro-level notes, no surprises, no confusion
• Perform quality checks so every vehicle leaves safe, correct, and road-ready

Qualifications

THE RIGHT FIT

GM Certified Transmission Technician

• Experience performing transmission overhauls and repairs
• Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to consistently flag productive hours
• Hands-on knowledge of vehicle systems, plus the drive to keep learning
• Strong diagnostics—customer concern to confirmed fix
• Clear communication with advisors/parts and clean documentation
• Quality-focused execution: read ROs fast, work accurately, don’t cut corners
• Time management and productivity—estimate work and keep jobs on track
• Ownership mindset—work independently and take responsibility for results
