Packer & Inspector - 1st Shift

Description

• HOURS:7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday
• Wages:$13/hr to start
• $13.50/hr after 90 days
• $13.75/hr after 6 months

General Summary

• Works in a fast-paced environment
• Pays attention to detail, i.e. no date, broken tubs/lids, defects non-efficient weight by sight, tape/box issues
• Ensures lids are closed on tubs
• Pack Tubs in the correct boxes is an efficient amount of time.
• Take containers of candy to the inspector
• Package different size bags
• Understanding of how many bags go into each case
• Understand and able to start and stop bagger
• Keep area clean
• Ensures materials are provided in a timely manner and to the correct line.
• Adherence to all personal protection equipment (PPEs) and general manufacturing procedures (GMPs)

• Observe and adhere to all safety practices.
• Adherence to all PPE requirements.
