Implementation Specialist (SaaS Onboarding, CRM/ERP Systems – Remote, U.S. Hours)
About the Role
- We’re hiring an Implementation Specialist to lead client onboarding, system setup, and successful product adoption .
- In this role, you’ll guide clients from post-sale to full implementation — configuring systems, delivering training, and ensuring a smooth go-live experience.
- If you’re strong in SaaS onboarding, project management, and client communication , this role gives you ownership of the entire implementation journey.
Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Kickoff
- Lead client onboarding sessions , introducing workflows, timelines, and expectations
- Gather requirements and confirm implementation scope
- Build strong client relationships from day one
System Configuration & Setup
- Configure accounts, permissions, and integrations (CRM, ERP, SaaS platforms, APIs)
- Customize workflows, dashboards, and settings based on client needs
- Test systems and troubleshoot issues before go-live
Training & Enablement
- Deliver client training sessions via Zoom or workshops
- Create user guides, video tutorials, and FAQs
- Ensure clients are confident using the platform
Project Management
- Manage implementation projects using Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Jira
- Track milestones, dependencies, and deadlines
- Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with Sales for smooth deal handoff
- Work with Customer Success for post-implementation transition
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering to resolve issues and share feedback
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Document implementation processes and best practices
- Track onboarding performance (time-to-value, adoption rates)
- Suggest improvements to workflows and playbooks
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or technical project management
- Experience working with SaaS platforms, CRM, or ERP systems
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience delivering client training sessions
- Proficiency with project management tools:
- Asana
- Trello
- Monday.com
- Jira
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working remotely during U.S. business hours
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing SaaS solutions for SMB or enterprise clients
- Technical knowledge of APIs, integrations, or SQL
- Background in software, healthcare, finance, or professional services
- Project management certifications ( PMP, CAPM, Agile )
