About The Role

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in banking or financial services programs
  • Desirable background in downstream processes, accounting, or reporting areas including GL interfaces, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting
  • Proven track record of managing projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements to deployment, across at least two implementations
  • Practical, hands-on expertise with a minimum of two platforms such as TCS, Finacle, or Fiserv
  • Strong experience working collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams involving multiple stakeholders

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gather and define functional requirements for downstream systems including accounting, interfaces, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Clarify requirements with stakeholders and address gaps or ambiguities.
  • Define impacts of deposit-related events such as account changes, interest, fees, reversals, and adjustments.
  • Create and maintain functional specs and interface documentation covering data mappings, validations, and error handling.
  • Support SIT and UAT testing, defect management, and ensure requirement-test case traceability.
  • Define and validate reconciliation controls and exception handling.
  • Coordinate cutover and post-go-live stabilization of processing and reporting.
  • Maintain RAID logs, track dependencies, document decisions, and report status to governance.
