Transportation Manager

Description

Holcomb Bus is opening a location in Philadelphia and is looking for an experienced Transportation Manager to run its new facility. The Transportation Manager will direct and oversee the activities of the drivers and aides as well as office personnel. They will maintain office efficiency by planning, implementing, and coordinating office systems and equipment procurement. In addition, this individual will create, revise and manage the scheduling of drivers, aides and routes as well as monitor client changes/additions/deletions for such routes and interact with school officials and parents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English
• Minimum 5 years experience in the transportation industry and 3 years in management
• Able to operate a 2 way radio
• Intermediate Microsoft Office literacy
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and multi task efficiently
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• CDL License helpful
