Description

Fairhaven Church is seeking a full-time Student Pastor to lead an aligned, dynamic, and impactful student ministry at our Springboro Campus. This leader will play a key role in helping students Find Hope in Jesus and Share the Hope of Jesus with others, while cultivating an environment where students can grow deeply in their relationships with God and one another.

The Student Pastor will provide vision, leadership and hands-on direction for middle and high school students, fostering a culture where students feel known, valued and nurtured in their faith. This role requires a relational leader who is committed to developing student leaders, partnering with families and equipping serve team members.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Teach, organize and lead the Springboro Student Ministry weekly gathering for Middle and High School Students
• Lead the Springboro campus student ministry including weekly and special events in coordination with the Central Ministry Leader
• Collaborate with the cross campus Student team to plan, coordinate and attend all student events, camps, and mission trips.
• Initiate and cultivate relationships with parents and students in both middle and high school outside of just Student events (Sporting events, concerts, plays, etc.)
• Recruit, equip and develop leaders to serve in Students
• Oversee and develop monthly events for students at Springboro including community and serving opportunities
• Serve as the primary communicator for Springboro Student Ministries to staff and serve team members, parents and congregants
• Oversee the coordination and implementation of project logistics for Springboro student events
• Connect with new students and oversee the management of the student engagement process
• Manage the Springboro student budget
• Be present and available during Sunday Worship services to interact and engage with students and parents
• Utilize the Church Management System to maintain accurate data and manage resource requests and reservations for Springboro Student Ministry.
• Assist with Springboro Campus and Church-wide initiatives as assigned by the Campus Pastor

• Christian Maturity – a saving knowledge of and a growing personal relationship with God and the maturity necessary for nurturing the faith and character of others
• Culture Carrier – Demonstrate enthusiasm for the advancement of Fairhaven’s vision
• Learner – Willingness to learn new skills, systems and processes as ministry and technology needs dictate
• Efficiency – Achieves results that meet or exceed Fairhaven’s standards for work assigned, including attention to detail and thoroughness with excellence.
• Pastoral - Basic understanding of individual spiritual formation and the nurturing of faith and character in others
• Teamwork – Helps others and promotes a cooperative and enjoyable environment.
• Communication – Provides useful and timely information. Writes clearly and effectively. Supports and actively participates in open, honest, and respectful communication
• Technology Aptitude – Experience in Microsoft office and other software platforms

Education

• College degree or equivalent work, life, or ministry experience
