Job Summary

*Variable hours - days/evenings with up to an every other weekend rotation.*

Provide phlebotomy assistance when needed, receiving and processing of specimens prior to testing, performing limited laboratory waived testing, prepare samples for send-out, answer lab phone calls and respond to customer concerns/questions promptly, participate in inventory management, and assist with moderate complexity testing where applicable.

Job Responsibilities

Receiving and processing specimens
Phlebotomy
Assist with pre-analytical and post-analytical processes for testing
Answering laboratory phone calls
Preparing samples for send out

Qualifications

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience: 6 – 12 months

Special Skills and Abilities

Phlebotomy competency/experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Clinical Laboratory Assistant (CLA) certification, and Phlebotomy certification/training.
