**If you live in the Sparta, Rockford, or Cedar Springs, MI area and have strong automotive knowledge, we want you to join our team as a Full‑Time Counterperson at our Rockford, MI Auto Value store. We’re looking for a dependable, customer‑focused individual eager to grow in a fast‑paced environment and contribute to our mission of delivering top‑notch service every day.**

Key Responsibilities

• Be the face of our company by establishing positive experiences with every customer interaction.
• Conduct all activities using a customer focused perspective, always providing efficient and accurate expertise.
• Finalize sales using methods such as phone calls, in person communication, and more!
• Establish a deep knowledge of the parts and services we provide to our customers.
• Support our customers’ needs through always offering all product options to our customers and exemplifying our Never Say No values.
• Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
• Contribute to the store’s daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.

Schedule:Full time, up to 40 hours per week. 9am-6pm Saturdays on rotation

Job Requirements

• ***Previous 2 years experience* in automotive field.**
• Customer focused with strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 20 years of Age
• Valid Driver’s License
• No major violations
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
• No more than one at-fault accident
• Must be able to comply with all physical requirements of position including a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.
