Senior Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our in-person, fast-paced NYC startup. You'll be a full-stack developer with a frontend emphasis and a passion for AI and legal tech, building scalable, user-centric tools that help legal teams review contracts faster. This role is pivotal to shaping the core platform and enabling lawyers with intelligent workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, build, and deploy scalable systems and AI tools to accelerate contract review for legal teams.
• Own end-to-end product development across the stack with a focus on intuitive lawyer-facing interfaces.
• Collaborate with leadership to set technical priorities and establish a robust, maintainable codebase.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered tools to power the core platform.
• Contribute to a high-energy, in-person, collaborative culture focused on shipping quickly.
• Mentor and help recruit engineers to scale the team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with LLM integrations and building frontend AI tools, agents, or interfaces.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Svelte).
• Willingness to work on-site in the NYC office.
• Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
• Demonstrated interest in AI and legal tech.
