HSE Engineer

Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and systems at the plant/site Ensure compliance with statutory HSE requirements, factory acts, environmental norms, and company standards Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and hazard identification to prevent accidents and incidents Monitor safe work practices related to fabrication, erection, material handling, welding, working at height, and crane operationsInvestigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Organize HSE training, toolbox talks, mock drills, and awareness programs for employees and contractors Ensure proper implementation of PPE usage, safety signage, and emergency preparedness plan Coordinate internal and external HSE audits, inspections, and regulatory visits Maintain HSE documentation, statutory registers, incident records, and compliance reports Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture and environmental performance
