Team Member - Nacelle Central Purchase

Procurement & Vendor Management Handle sourcing and purchasing of nacelle components (fabrication, casting, machining, electricals, fasteners, sub‑assemblies, etc.) Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers as per technical and commercial requirements Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contracts to achieve cost and delivery targets Develop and maintain long‑term vendor relationships to ensure continuity of supply Order & Delivery Management Generate and track Purchase Orders (POs) as per MRP / production plans Ensure on‑time delivery of materials to meet production schedules Coordinate closely with planning, production, quality, and logistics teams Handle expediting, delays, shortages, and supplier escalations proactively Cost Control & Compliance Monitor and control procurement costs within approved budgets Support cost reduction initiatives (VA/VE, alternate sourcing, localization) Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements Maintain proper documentation for procurement transactions Quality & Supplier Performance Coordinate with Quality for supplier audits, first article approvals, and corrective actions Track supplier performance on quality, delivery, and responsiveness Drive supplier improvement actions where required Coordination & Reporting Work closely with Engineering for BOM understanding and technical clarifications Prepare procurement MIS reports (open POs, savings, supplier performance) Support new project / new product introduction procurement needs
