About The Role
Job Summary: The CBOP Specialist will work closely with the Lasso-3 Construction Team, Technical Services Team, O&M Team, BD Team, HSSE Team and other external stakeholders such as consultants and EPC contractors to oversee the construction, QA/QC/HSSE compliance monitoring, punch-listing, test and commissioning of Lasso-3 solar project. It is expected that he will be handling multiple engineering disciplines simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: HSSE management: follow Project Company's HSSE performance in coordination with site HSE Manager in order to analyse periodically EPC Contractors implementation of HSSE management Carry out inspection and check for all quality-related procedures in the construction of the PV power plant and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan. Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity related to the site development, roads, drainage, building and civil engineering works. Must have knowledge of building and structural standards. Supervise the effective implementation of tests procedure, inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality check and audit on processes. Review the quality of all materials at the manufacturing site and construction side to ensure compliance with project technical specification. Management of punch list items and ensure timely and effective rectification works. Maintain knowledge on QAQC standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for PV farm, buildings, site development, drainage, roads, and civil engineering related works. Verify contractor and supplier quality requirements are specified during contractor documentation submittals. Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents. Maintain knowledge database of all quality standards related to civil engineering works and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers. Prepare preliminary and detailed analysis and design documents for civil engineering/systems including but not limited to road designs, stormwater management design and drainage reports, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, foundation design, among others; Review design requirements, plans and specifications for constructability and risk management; Plan, coordinate with contractors and review geotechnical survey campaigns; Prepare and review reports, proposals, BOQ and cost estimates for civil related activities. Attend meetings with clients, consultants and EPC contractors to coordinate and supervise various civil design activities; Manage PV farm, substation, transmission line pole/tower, structural designers and/or EPC contractors as the case may be, including necessary workshops, and proper 3rd party review to ensure suitable designs in accordance with company interests; Perform other related duties as assigned. Pre-requisites: More than 3 years in civil engineering, construction management, etc. Licensed CE Construction Management, Road design, Building design, Geotechnical investigation, Structural analysis, Drainage design,QA/QC/HSSE, Excellent interpersonal skills to work a team, as well as verbal and written communication skills in English Thorough understanding of structural and civil building code factors and analyses thereof; Proficiency with civil and structural related processes and computer software (i.e. AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD Pro and/or others, FE modeling, etc.) is desirable. Experience on construction QA/QC is a plus. Willing to be relocated on site Are you ready to engineer a greener future?
