What You’ll Do

  • Content Creation & Creative Direction (70%)
  • Focus: Content strategy, scripting, production, and creative execution across owned and paid channels.
  • Lead creative direction for content and ads, owning headlines, scripts, and messaging across Instagram, TikTok, emails, and other digital/ATL platforms.
  • Develop high-impact content across the funnel, from brand awareness and product education to conversion and sales, always linking creative with performance goals.
  • Create and appear in short-form video content (e.g. Reels, TikTok, product explainers, street interviews, behind-the-scenes).
  • Film and produce content using mobile-first formats with strong storytelling and editing instincts.
  • Own and drive Blood’s organic social content calendar, planning, scripting, and scheduling posts across Instagram and TikTok.
  • Write compelling captions, emails, scripts, and visual copy that reflects Blood’s voice and manifesto.
  • Track and report on creative and content performance; iterate based on insights and trends.
  • Stay ahead of platform best practices and cultural trends; identify innovation opportunities to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Influencer, Community & Affiliate Engagement (30%)
  • Focus: Community engagement and growth, Scale Content through Content Flooding
  • Support the growth and day-to-day management of the Blood’s affiliate and creator network in Malaysia
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant creators, affiliates, and micro-influencers aligned to the brand's category, audience, and tone.
  • Coordinate outreach, onboarding, briefing, product seeding, campaign timelines, and content follow-up.
  • Prepare content guidelines, key messages, offer mechanics, and campaign kits for affiliate partners.
  • Track affiliate content delivery and basic performance metrics, and share learnings with the Senior Brand Manager and E-Commerce Manager
  • Build strong working relationships with external creators and affiliates to improve consistency, speed, and output quality.

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of experience in brand, content, or social media marketing, ideally with DTC/lifestyle/beauty/health brands.
  • You’re comfortable in front of the camera and have a natural, relatable on-screen presence.
  • A strong storyteller who can ideate, write, and perform with clarity, authenticity, and wit.
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms (especially TikTok and Instagram) and how to tailor content per channel.
  • You love building brands that stand for something, and believe marketing can shape culture.
  • Highly self-motivated, collaborative, proactive, willing to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
