Software Engineer / Platform Engineer (Openshift/Kubernetes Specialist)

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, engineer, and automate the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as software.
• •Develop robust automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
• •Implement and maintain OpenShift components such as OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage.
• •Engineer reliability and performance optimizations to ensure high availability of the container platform.
• •Implement GitOps workflows for cluster configuration management.

Requirements

• •Experience: Intermediate: 3+ years
• •Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes internals.
• •Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
• •Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• •Knowledge of storage (Ceph/ODF) and networking (SDN, OVN) in a containerized environment.
• •Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools.
