Training Suppport Officer

POSITION TITLE : TRAINING SUPPORT OFFICER REPORTS TO : HEAD OF SALES TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT DIRECTLY SUPERVISES : N/A UNIT/DEPARMENT : SALES TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION/ GROUP : PRODUCT AND SALES JOB SUMMARY The Training Support Officer is responsible to communicate with manager in identifying training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. He/ she is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating and conducting training programs such as product knowledge training. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and facilitate training programs to newly hired and existing employees under Sales and Distribution channel. .Design and prepare learning aids and materials. Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g simulations, mentoring, gamification, on-the-job training professional development classes) Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPI. Partners and supports the sales team leaders/ business heads in identifying training needs. Gather feedback from the trainees after each educational session It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Years of Work Experience: 1 - 4 Years Educational Attainment/ Required course ( if applicable) : Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Business Management, or any related courses. Required Certification/ Professional License ( if applicable ): N/A Field of Specialization ( if applicable ): Sales/ Training/ Education Knowledge and Skills Requirement : Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Hands-on experience in sales for sharing of best practices. Proven work experience in handling training, or events in a corporate setting. Familiar with traditional and modern synchronous and asynchronous training method Creative, strategic, and energetic.
