Account Specialist

About the Role As an Account Specialist, you will be in-charge of the proper documentation for the sale of ROPA and written communications in relation to foreclosure documentation. Acts as support to Account Officers for the processing of accounts. How you'll contribute Process release of original documents to buyers by preparing necessary documentary requests to handling units within the specified turnaround time Process the payment/reimbursement of the service provider Prepare vouchers for bills on caretakers’ expenses (repairs and maintenance) to ensure that the bank has no outstanding obligations to third parties Monitors movement of term sheet and other document for approval through proper logging to ensure that all accounts are processed within the appropriate turnaround time Creation and maintenance of shadow folder for newly booked and existing ROPA including turn-over of original documents to CRS to ensure proper safekeeping of information and documents Monitors the release of original documents by ensuring that appropriate receiving copies are on file and submitted to CRS Process the request for safekeeping of the retention boxes (ROPA accounts) to warehouse from GSD. Performs data back-up of sold ROPA by scanning and re-checking documents to comply with regulatory requirements and at the same time ease of account pull-out when review is necessary Review of submitted ROPA documents by thoroughly reviewing for the handling team to submit/correct the document deficiencies cited. Collates updated appraised value of booked ROPA to ensure correct insurance coverage for each property on a yearly basis Ensures proper documentation of sale by creating and monitoring Deed of Sale and all contracts furnished to ensure that each account is compliant and with supporting contracts/documentation What we're looking for Bachelor's / College Degree With at least 1 year of relevant work experience is an advantage Knowledgeable in real estate transactions and market trends. - Effective communication skills - Ability to adapt to situation and keen to details.
