Job Summary Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Specialist is responsible for supporting New Project Initiatives (NPI) and deliverables. The role ensures that projects are monitored and executed based on SBF priorities and timelines while achieving buy-in from all decision makers for the successful application of NPI. Duties and Responsibilities Lead process/project improvements related to SBF products (system), selling process, preparing & managing NPI documents and presentations Coordinate and properly communicate with other departments on project requirement Ensures that the flow of information from the project owner to the team is updated Implementation and turnover of projects to BAU Launch projects based on agreed timelines with the project team and project stakeholders Support intra and inter- functional projects Monitor performance bottlenecks and defects in order to identify opportunities for process innovation. Make provisions for the progress of the project Make the arrangement for projects documentation on the recommendation and specification of the owner and ensure that specifications are met Maintaining all the project documentations Ensure that the procedure rules and regulations are well adhered Make arrangement for the project completion based on specifications of the project owner Suggest strategies of achieving the project goals to the owner Meet with the different project teams and ensure that each member is given an opportunity to make suggestions regarding the executions of the project What we're looking for Degree in Business Management, Industrial or Management Engineering. Post-graduate degree is desirable Minimum 3-years work experience banking/financial institutions/fintech Six Sigma training an advantage ISO training an advantage Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices (process mapping, gap analysis, root cause analysis, project plan, etc.). Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Knowledge of PC applications including, but not limited, to Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Works well in a team environment with sound negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders on sensitive and/or emotional factors Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
