POSITION TITLE : SALES ASSOCIATE REPORTS TO : BUSINESS MANAGER DIRECTLY SUPERVISES : N/A UNIT / DEPARTMENT : DIVISION/GROUP : BRANCH BANKING GROUP JOB SUMMARY The Sales Associate p roactively acquires new customers to drive business growth, focusing on low-cost products such as CASA. He/She enhances customer relationships by cross selling a range of banking products, thereby increasing product utilization and maximizing the client’s wallet share. The Sales Associate plays a key role in boosting overall sales revenue and contributing to the company’s financial success. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Client Relationship Management Ensures usage of the product and conducts follow-ups to develop basic relationship with the customer. 2. Market Research and Business Intelligence Generates customer leads via mapping, prospecting, and telemarketing to build a robust pipeline. 3. Needs Analysis and Solution Matching Understands customer needs and creates value generating financial advice for customers. Coordinates efforts with other units of the Bank for efficient service delivery and harmonious working relationship with other units. 4. Persuasive Communication Skills Conducts sales meetings with prospective clients and can handle objections to deliver SBC's value proposition. Promotes awareness of Security Bank among prospective clients by educating individuals on bank products and services. 5. Portfolio/Investment Management Manages customer portfolio and fosters good business relationship with his/her clients. 6. Governance, Control, and Risk Management Adhere to policies and guidelines to avoid sanctions and reputational damage. It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
