POSITION TITLE : ​ SALES OFFICER ​ REPORTS TO : ​ BUSINESS MANAGER ​ DIRECTLY SUPERVISES : N/A UNIT / DEPARTMENT : ASSIGNED BRANCH / ASSIGNED AREA ​ DIVISION/GROUP : ASSIGNED REGION / BRANCH BANKING GROUP JOB SUMMARY The Sales Officer ensures the achievement of his/her business outcomes by strategically executing sales plans and activities. He/She addresses the banking requirements of those in the targeted market segment by aligning client requirements with the Bank’s products and services. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Client Relationship Management · Builds and maintains strong client relationships through regular visits and financial reviews. Ensures customer satisfaction and retention with regular follow-up. Collaborates with partner units for successful cross-sells. Deal Management/Negotiation · Promotes and sells banking products and services, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans. Effectively presents bank products to grow the customer base. Needs Analysis and Solution Matching · Conducts thorough needs analysis to accurately profile prospects and maximize their potential. Collects and verifies required documents for account openings and loan applications. Market and Information Technology Adeptness · Maintains an effective system for record-keeping and data management. Stays proactive in response to industry competition, market conditions, and external factors, addressing threats while leveraging strengths and opportunities. Financial Analysis · Meets or exceeds sales targets and goals. Monitors actual performance versus targets based on MIS reports. Governance, Control, and Risk Management · Adheres to policies and guidelines to avoid sanctions and reputational damage It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
