We are looking for a highly motivated Payroll Operations Associate to join our team!

The Payroll Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation in compliance with labor and insurance legislation. The role involves maintaining employee records, managing Ergani II updates, and assisting with payroll-related reporting and statutory submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Review timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to employee payroll and benefits inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal, attendance, payroll, tax, and benefits information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Handle Ergani II transactions, including new hires, terminations, contract amendments, overtime declarations, and work schedule changes.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, benefits administration, leave management, and maintenance of payroll documentation and employee files.
  • Prepare employment contracts and related HR documentation in accordance with company policies and labor legislation.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with health and safety policies and employment regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather payroll-related information and prepare regular payroll, headcount, and labor cost reports.
  • Good knowledge of payroll cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of labor and insurance legislation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills daily.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or other related field.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in payroll processes.
  • Proficient user of payroll software, HRIS systems (preferably Epsilon-Pylon) and Ergani II System.
