Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join ACHS. In this role, you will work closely with the team, helping to cultivate a supportive environment where dancers can thrive and express themselves creatively. Your contributions will play a vital role in shaping our students' dance experiences and fostering their love for movement.

Responsibilities

To deliver high-quality dance lessons across various styles and age groups.
Support the development and implementation of engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum.
Provide individual attention and constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and confidence.
Encourage a positive and inclusive environment, promoting teamwork and camaraderie among students.
Help organize and participate in dance recitals, showcases, and interschool events.
Maintain a safe environment.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required

Previous experience in dance education or a strong background in dance performance.
Knowledge of various dance styles and techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching.

Preferred

Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Certification in dance education or related fields.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

Proficiency in using digital communication tools for class management and student engagement.
Familiarity with dance notation and choreography software is a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and foster positive relationships
Adaptability and creativity in responding to the needs of students and the classroom environment
