Software Tester / QA Engineer

We are looking for a

detail-oriented Software Tester

to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The role involves planning and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios

Perform

• manual testing
• of web and/or mobile applications
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to understand issues and verify fixes

Conduct

• functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Participate in requirement review and sprint planning meetings
• Ensure software meets quality standards before release
• Maintain test documentation and reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred) 1–4 years of experience in software testing or QA
• Strong understanding of

SDLC and STLC

• Experience with manual testing techniques
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases (preferred)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Good to Have

Exposure to

• automation testing tools
• (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)

Understanding of

API testing

(Postman, Swagger)

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge
