Senior Software Engineer- Platform & DevEx

PLATFORM OVERVIEW

We are building an enterprise-grade Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) platform that will be integrated with our internal developer portal to give application teams a paved-road, self-service experience for onboarding, deploying, and operating their workloads. The platform is GitOps-driven (Argo CD), multi-cluster and policy-governed, with managed Cloud Service Mesh, Dynatrace observability.

Over the coming quarters we are onboarding a large number of application teams onto this platform, while building the developer-experience layer on top of it: APIs to provision and manage namespaces and clusters, integration with our internal developer portal (Red Hat Developer Hub / Backstage), custom Kubernetes controllers for platform automation, and the backend services that connect the portal to our GitOps and cluster control planes. This role owns that backend, automation, and developer-enablement work.
