About The Role

Under the general direction of the Public Health Services Supervisor, the Public Health Nurse delivers a full range of population-based public health nursing services to support the department’s programs. This position promotes health, prevents disease and injury, and protects the community through assessment, education, collaboration, and direct service. The Public Health Nurse provides services related to communicable disease, immunizations, sexual health clinic and maternal and child health.

Core business hours are 8:00AM to 4:30PM, however occasional evenings and weekends may be needed. This position requires someone who is well organized and able to work on multiple projects.
